For the Love of...

Daytime. Every second is spent protecting and teaching my children as we go through our routines. One thing is certain though. They love Mommy's stash. It's quite common to find yarn unraveled running from one side of the house to the other. Or to hear them playing drums with needles that I've been looking for. Yesterday my son had a fake snowball fight with fiberfill he found in my desk. They'll sit on the couch and play next to me while I work on patterns or knit up gifts for friends. I hope they never get tired of being so curious or creative.

  1. My grandson thinks yarn balls are BALLS. He een makes me make him some "balls" is specific colors so he can play with them. At one point he actually slept with his favorite yarn balls. It was so cute.

  4. I learned how to knit when my twins were 14 -- too hard to get anything done when you have twins! Enjoy the wonder years --it goes by so fast. Mine are off to college in Spetember!

  6. They wont get sick of it. My mom is an artist and because of her being creative is ingrained in me, I would be lost without it. My brother is the same way, I think it really is something you learn when you're around it all the time.

  7. I happened to stumble on your site and just love it! Have you thought about designing dish cloths for the various seasons? I see you have winter, fall and christmas taken care of. I'd love to see a spring and summer set!

Thanks for sharing with everyone.. I hope to do the Valentine set this weekend!

  9. Delurking from Twitter....

For some reason, my nephews are the exact same. When they visit, they don't want to play with the Wii, or the cat, oh no. They go right for Auntie Caitie's yarn stash and proceed to make my apartment look like a yarn torn war zone. I wouldn't trade it for anything though!

Love the dish cloths by the way!
