I'm Back.. For Good.

It's been a very, very difficult summer. Due to family situations I had to start working full time and then some just to make ends meet. This took a severe toll on so many different aspects of my life. Thinking of them now can almost make me break down and cry. I'm still working through these difficult times everyday with an open heart and a smile . "When life gives you lemons..."

It's been so hard to neglect this part of my life for all of these months. It's honestly made me very depressed. I don't know where to even begin to apologize to every single one of you who follow this blog and wondered where I might be, if I was alright or not. Or to every knitter who might've had a problem with a pattern and sent an email that I just wasn't able to get to. Sometimes life becomes too much to handle and that's exactly what happened. I had no choice but to let some things suffer. There is more to the story but I beg you to forgive us and hope that you will continue to read and follow as I have so much to share with you.

Just a side note... and an important one. I am determined to continue the KAL and offer all of the "back-issue" cloths up in full within the next month. I know a lot of knitters wanted to have a complete set of 12 months by the end of the year. I'm making sure that this will be possible.
There will be an October KAL on the 1st of the month.

I need to start this again, I didn't realize how much joy it brought into my life an other's until it was gone. I've surely missed you..

I think the main problem was the sudden absence with no explanation; I know it left a bad taste for some people. I'm not saying that to condemn/critize, but by way of explanation. I'm still appalled by some of the comments people left, but I'll admit that I even became disenchanted when there was no, "hey, life got in the way and I can't do this now post." I would think it would be particularly frustrating to those who had paid for a pattern.

I'm glad that things have become more manageable and you feel that you can now take time to return to this. I hope it becomes a source of healing for you; I know knitting has helped me through a couple rough patches in life.

Hello Kris,
it's been just a few days that I discovered your blog and started knitting your free patterns and bought some others.
Because of the wonderful work you did before that summer it was like you are still here.
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad summer. I hope it's alot better now.
But ... knitting (and blogging) is "just" a hobby. And the good thing about a hobby is, that it can wait for you till you are ready for it again.
I'm looking forward to new patters from you. I just love your designs and even made my non-english-speaking sister knitting your patterns (with no translation).
Best wishes from Germany!

Kris, I just started following your blog about the time that you had to take some time off. I was absolutely appalled by the posts left by some of the people following your KAL. As a blogger that offers free patterns, I absolutely couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I have had to do the same as you at different parts of my life (both job and blogging) and I commend you highly for putting your family first. I'm so glad to see that things are on the mend. You were missed by all here. Never feel as though you have to apologize for taking care of your priorities. Welcome back! :)

10,000 years ago, deep in the caves of Oregon, early man produced the world's first pair of shoes. The ancient shoes, made of woven bark, were nothing more than a shield from the elements. Tens of thousands of centuries later and halfway around the world, a young boy by the name of Christian Louboutin wandered into a gentleman's night club in Paris and witnessed female nudity for the first time. Awestruck and enamored, the nude female form became Christian Louboutin shoes sale 's inspiration behind one of the biggest fashion empires to date.
During his teenage years, Louboutin often drew women's shoes in his notebooks during school. Then, in 1979, he saw a billboard in Paris for the Oceanic Museum of Art. The billboard banned women's stilettos from the museum, and Louboutin fixated on the sign's 50s iconic image. As a result, he began to draw shoes with soft soles and smaller buckles, much like the ones he drew in his school notebooks.
designer Louboutin shoes sale sought higher learning from the design schools of Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. He initially worked at the universities, and then began working for Roger Vivier in 1988. While working for Vivier, Louboutin realized that his calling was to create women's shoes. He worked as a landscaper for three years but returned to the fashion industry in 1992 with his own line of shoes. The solo artist created classic, timeless footwear that enabled women to reach bold new heights. shop for Christian louboutin shoes

I''m Charlotte Johnson,65  years old, Here in Edmonton, Canada. With the new herbal mix medicine I purchased from Dr James herbal mix medicine West Africa  was my only way to get rid of my Alzheimer's, the herbal  mix medicine effectively reversed my condition and alleviated all symptoms.  I was initially very hesitant to discuss my Alzheimer but I just hope it can still help someone. I feel this will be very important information for all Alzheimer patients, because the most violent element in society today is ignorance. Be it any condition, a healthy diet and natural herbs and roots medicine from Dr. James is the road to fast recovery. I had suffered Alzheimer for many years, I fought for proper medical recommendation, care  and all forms of humane treatment with little improvement. I went through many sleepless nights and periods of intense grief, as do most families. I was recommended by a friend to use Dr. James herbal mix medicine for my Alzheimer with high hope and assurance. I never doubted my friend but to contact Dr. James. And purchased His herbal mix medicine which was effective and I finally feel my Alzheimer is gone with no more symptoms. He also told me that he got cures for diseases such as  Lungs diseases, kidney diseases, Warts, Bipolar disorder, Shingles,  HPV, ALS, CANCER, NEPHROTIC SYNDROME, HIV / AIDS, Herpes virus, Ovarian Cancer, Pancreatic cancers, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, Glaucoma., Cataracts, Macular degeneration, Cardiovascular disease, Autism.
